I have discovered heaven, and it comes in the form of a hot dog stand.
One word: J-Dawgs.
Not only did I get a FANTASTIC Polish hot dog with some super secret but super awesome sauce and a delectable cup of root beer for only $4, but I found my future husband. He works at the hot dog stand. He took my order, my money, and gave me my cup for root beer with naught but love for me in his eyes. I'm pretty sure he wanted to propose marriage to me on the spot, but there was a line. Next time hot dog man. Next time.
$4.00?! you could buy a pack of bar-s, some buns, and a 2 liter bottle of root beer for less than $3.00. didn't you learn anything from girls' camp? (think: i know a hot dog man, he owns a hot dog stand. he sells most anything from TEN CENTS ON DOWN!) sounds like your hot dog man is ripping you off. bar-s, baby! not that it would taste anything like a polish sausage "with choc-o-late sauce" <--(say it high-pitched and name that movie!) or anything. ha ha.

HAHAHA Yeah, Bar-S doesn't cut it..although I am still craving an Oscar Meyer cheese dog grilled on a George Foreman. Mmmmm...oh and Daddy Long Legs. Good movie! I love hamburger with chocolate sauce...I wonder if a hotdog would be good with it?

There's a great little hot dog shop in Gilbert called "The Higley Hot Dog," and their prices are about the same as you described here. Plus they have fries and shakes for really cheap. It's just an old but awesome little place. I miss it.
And surely a hot dog would be good with chocolate sauce. ;)
WHAT?! i LOVE oscar meyer! especially the cheese dogs! that's hilarious. bar-s is only for the kids and pork and beans. and when i absolutely have to have a hot dog. :)
